We are looking for a KSQL / Flink Developer to design, build, and maintain real-time streaming applications using KSQL (ksqlDB) and Apache Flink. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in stream processing, event-driven architectures, and building scalable data pipelines for real-time analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop real-time streaming solutions using ksqlDB and Apache Flink Create and optimize KSQL streams and tables for event processing and analytics Develop Flink jobs for stateful and stateless stream processing Integrate Kafka topics with downstream systems using streaming pipelines Ensure low-latency, high-throughput, and fault-tolerant streaming applications Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune streaming jobs in production environments Collaborate with data engineers, platform teams, and application teams Implement data quality checks, schema management, and governance standards Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with Kafka, ksqlDB (KSQL), and Apache Flink Proficiency in Java or Scala (Python is a plus) Solid understanding of stream processing concepts and event-driven design Experience with Kafka Streams, Schema Registry, and message formats (Avro, JSON, Protobuf) Knowledge of distributed systems and real-time data architectures Experience with monitoring and logging tools for streaming platforms
Preferred / Nice to Have:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with CI/CD pipelines for streaming applications Familiarity with Spark Streaming or other real-time frameworks Understanding of security, access control, and data governance in Kafka ecosystems
