Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design and/ or Verification Expert to support requirement analysis, design updates, debugging, and verification activities. The ideal candidate will actively participate in technical reviews, resolve customer-reported issues, and contribute to developing robust SystemVerilog-based test benches to enhance verification and validation coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed requirement analysis and actively participate in technical design reviews to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Modify, enhance, and maintain FPGA design files to address functional, performance, and customer-reported issues.
- Execute and analyze test scripts to validate design fixes and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Debug FPGA designs at RTL and post-silicon levels using simulation and hardware debugging tools.
- Develop and improve test benches using SystemVerilog to strengthen verification and validation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, and validation engineers.
- Document design changes, test results, and verification outcomes clearly and effectively.
- Participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing to improve verification methodologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in FPGA design and debugging
- Proficiency in Verilog / SystemVerilog (VHDL is a plus)
- Hands-on experience developing and executing test benches and test scripts
- Solid understanding of FPGA verification and validation methodologies
- Experience with simulation and debugging tools (e.g., ModelSim, Questa, Vivado Simulator, or similar)
- Ability to analyze customer-reported issues and implement reliable fixes
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- DO-254 experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with UVM-based verification
- Familiarity with Xilinx/AMD or Intel FPGA toolchains
- Exposure to CI/CD flows for FPGA verification
- Knowledge of hardware/software co-verification
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Experience Level:
- 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and verification (adjust as needed)
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
