Tradition Hospital is looking to add an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to the team who will over see the 20-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 17-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the 7 th floor. Both of these units care for patients with life-threatening illnesses or injuries and complex medical conditions, often involving vital functions, systems or organs. Patients here are closely monitored and cared for around the clock and when it comes to providing critical care, nothing is more critical than teamwork. In this role , you will provide clinical supervision and coordinate operations with other departmental disciplines under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This role involves ensuring effective and efficient patient care across all age groups during assigned shifts or as designated. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, you will assume leadership responsibilities to maintain continuity of care and operational excellence. This position offers a great way to gain extensive leadership experience while continuing to provide the best support and treatment possible.
A caregiver in this position works nights from 6:30PM – 7:00AM.

Physical Requirements:
Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
