Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality behavioral health services in an outpatient setting. This role involves delivering therapy services, completing clinical assessments, and collaborating with a supportive care team to help clients achieve improved mental health outcomes. Both fully licensed and associate-level clinicians are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related clinical field
- Active or provisional clinical license or certification (CSW, LPCA, MFTa, LPA, or equivalent)
- Willingness to participate in clinical supervision if not independently licensed
- Current registration with the applicable state licensing board
- Ability to manage a clinical caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient mental health therapy services to individuals and families
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake sessions
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and appropriate referrals
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and on time in compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and agency standards
Preferred Experience
- Independent licensure (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LPP, LCADC)
- Experience providing therapy to children and adolescents
- Background in substance use disorder treatment
- Experience working with serious mental illness (SMI) populations
Clinical & Professional Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to assess client needs, evaluate treatment progress, and adjust interventions
- Comfort communicating with clients, families, clinical supervisors, and community partners
Documentation & Communication Expectations
- Ability to read, interpret, and complete clinical and regulatory documentation
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records and medical documentation standards

Pay: $54,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
