Job Summary
Job Overview: Senior Account Manager: Automated Glass Cutting and Chemicals is responsible for developing efforts and strategies to successfully maintain and grow the automated cutting and chemical product lines to meet targeted forecasts and strategic goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Actively promote any products Bohle supplies to the Industrial market, consisting of float plants, automotive glass fabricators, OEM’s, distributors, key fabricator accounts, and glass tubing fabricators via personal visits to geographic territories, phone, and email.
- Participate in customer trials of Bohle and related products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
- Actively participate in the annual budgeting process and maintain the sales budget.
- Provide trip follow-up to customers and keep CRM database up to date with pertinent information concerning customer/sales activities.
- Maintain and update electronic customer files with up-to-date machinery profiles
- Gain national contracts and blanket orders with key customers.
- Participate in development of pricing for automatic cutting products.
- Strategize with Bohle America regarding growth of product lines, personnel structure and needed support.
- Deliver technical training to internal and external team members during office and customer visits.
- Train distributors about proper use, selection, technical benefits of products.
- Discuss customer application and specify product recommendations.
- Work with Bohle group to identify needed products for the market and strategize regarding new / existing products.
- Work with customer and Bohle group when necessary to modify existing products to meet specific customer application.
- Develop a means for sharing pertinent product line information with team members.
- Work with Product Management team to ensure adequate inventory levels and to minimize risk of unsaleable products. Conduct educational training seminars to our customers via onsite visits and virtual meeting platforms.
- Provide quotations as needed.
- Learn about competitors, their products, understand competitive selling advantages and appropriate cross reference products.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in glass processing
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Construction Management, Industrial Distribution, Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to understand simple technical drawings and situations including customer process and equipment issues, product application, design requirements, quality and application issues and to hold technical discussions to resolve customer concerns.
Pay and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $75,000–$95,000
- Target Incentive Opportunity: $15,000–$25,000 annually
- Total Target Compensation: $90,000–$120,000
