Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. We partner with designers and agencies to produce premium quality displays and interiors for global brands. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by assisting with various tasks related to assembly, fabrication, and warehouse operations. This position requires welding knowledge and the ability to work efficiently with both hand tools and power tools.
Duties
- Weld parts as assigned to meet our customer specifications and production schedules .
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical information i.e. blueprints, flat patterns, drawings, etc.
- Requires operation of forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, hand tools, and accurate use of precision measuring.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Tig Welding.
- Sheet Metal 16ga-10ga.
- Wide range of projects.
- Operate forklifts for material handling when necessary (certification is required).
- Knowledge of operating basic shop equipment i.e. torches, grinders, shear, saw's and drill press.
- Fabricate project from drawings complete to finish department.
- Work well in a small team environment.
Preferred knowledge
- Self-Motivated
- Blueprint reading skills.
- Experience using various hand tools and power tools safely.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Interpret drawings.
- Tap, drill and countersink.
- Mechanical Assembly.
- Hardware #4-40 - M10.
- Job management skills.
