Job Overview
Full Circle Preschool is seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our small, vibrant early childhood education team. This full-time role serves children ages 1–2 years Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM starting August 31st, 2026, which the option to begin as early as August 1st.
Full Circle is a small play-centered program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, that supports emergent curriculum, hands-on nature based learning. We are a dedicated staff of who love what we do and are looking for a similar-minded educator to join our team who brings warmth, curiosity, and confidence into their practice of supporting young children through their learning journey.
About Full Circle
Founded in 2017, Full Circle is a small, community-rooted, 4 STARS accredited program serving 30 children each year. Our intimate classrooms foster deep relationships, joyful learning, and individualized care. A dedicated team of long-term educators, many of whom have been with the program for 6-10 years, helps create a strong sense of continuity and belonging. Situated beside a large parcel of undeveloped land, Full Circle offers children daily access to green space and a nature-based playground, supporting exploration, connection, and a well-rounded early childhood experience.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities
- Create and facilitate developmentally appropriate learning experiences for toddlers through play, exploration, and relationship-based practices.
- Provide responsive caregiving, including feeding, diapering, soothing, supervision, and support with daily routines.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that reflects culturally responsive practices and respect for diverse identities and family structures.
- Support children's social-emotional development through age-appropriate co-regulation strategies, emotion coaching, and relationship-building.
- Encourage the development of emotional resilience, self-awareness, empathy, and emerging self-regulation skills.
- Observe, document, and reflect on children's learning, development, and interests to inform curriculum and individualized support.
- Communicate openly and collaboratively with families to support children's growth and well-being.
- Work closely with teaching partners to maintain consistency, continuity of care, and a positive team culture.
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations and uphold best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
We welcome candidates with a range of experience and training. Ideal applicants may include:
- Level IIITeacher Associate or Level IV Teacher Certification (Northern Lights Career Ladder), or work toward an Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Experience working with toddlers in a preschool or childcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and emotion coaching practices
- Interest in the Reggio Emilia approach and emergent curriculum
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to inclusive, equitable classroom practice
- Flexibility, curiosity, and humor
