Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (with flexibility required to support shifts as needed)
Bristol Adult Resource Center (BARC) is a private, non-profit organization supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a Director of Residential Services, who will work directly with the residential programs and senior management team as a professional liaison between the agency, individuals, families/guardians, and the public/private agencies served by the non-profit. The Director of Residential Services will report to the Senior Director of Program Services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or at least four years’ practical work experience in related fields such as health, education, welfare, business, hospital administration or special education.

At least two years experience in one of the following or related fields: education, social work, sociology, vocational, residential rehabilitiation, developmental disabilities.

Supervisory and management experience required.

Experience in not for profit agencies a nice to have.

Managing and tracking departmental financials within set budgets.

Experience in hiring and maintaining staffing requirments.

Maintain work relationships among all levels of the organization, individuals served, families, and other providers or services in a professional manner.

Provide safe and nurturing environment where Individuals are treated with dignity and respect, can exercise their rights and responsibilities and are protected from abuse or neglect.

Obtain and maintain all required certifications and trainings (in person and online).

Medication Certification required.

Able to cover residential shifts as needed.

Willing and able to complete all essential responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
