Sol Impact is hiring a full-time Leadership Development Associate in Albuquerque for motivated individuals ready to build practical leadership experience while supporting event-based campaigns for nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
As a Leadership Development Associate, you'll start by learning the fundamentals of community engagement, fundraising, and client representation before gradually taking on greater campaign and team responsibilities. Every Leadership Development Associate receives hands-on coaching while learning how strong communication, organization, and decision-making contribute to successful client campaigns.
Responsibilities of the Leadership Development Associate
- Learn each nonprofit client mission, campaign goals, and outreach strategy to represent their initiatives confidently.
- Build leadership fundamentals through direct community engagement at events, pop-ups, and outreach locations.
- Develop strong communication skills while creating positive experiences that reflect each client professionally.
- Learn how campaign goals are established, tracked, and adjusted based on daily client results.
- Work alongside experienced leaders to understand coaching, team communication, and event coordination.
- Help keep campaign operations organized while ensuring client messaging remains clear and consistent.
- Take on additional responsibilities as your communication, campaign knowledge, and leadership abilities develop.
- Share community feedback and campaign observations that can help strengthen future client outreach strategies.
- Continue progressing as a Leadership Development Associate through coaching focused on leadership, fundraising, and client campaign management.
Qualifications of the Leadership Development Associate
- Genuine interest in leadership, management, nonprofit outreach, events, or professional development.
- Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with different personalities.
- Leadership experience through athletics, student organizations, volunteer work, or previous employment is helpful but not required.
- Customer service, hospitality, fundraising, events, or community engagement experience is also a plus.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative.
- Positive, coachable, and motivated by continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working at community events and outreach locations throughout Albuquerque.
- Ready to grow as a Leadership Development Associate while learning how successful teams and client campaigns operate.
