Position Overview
The Steam Field Operator will be responsible for exercising, operating, and maintaining steam field valves, equipment, along with ensuring safe and efficient production. This role requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with our clients’ supervisors, maintenance staff, and fellow operators.

- Operate, monitor, and maintain steam field systems, including Steam wells, separators, pipelines, and related equipment.
- Record and interpret operating data such as valve function, pressures, temperatures, and flow rates
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or abnormal conditions.
- Complete accurate logs, reports, and documentation.
- Cleanliness of provided equipment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in steam field, power plant, or related operations.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, steam production, and fluid processes.
- Ability to read and interpret gauges, charts, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental standards.
- Valid driver’s license: willingness to work weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred Certifications (not required but a plus)
- Boiler Operator Certification
- OSHA 10/30 Training
- First Aid/CPR
- HAZMAT or confined space entry certification
