Upright Spine Center is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Chiropractic Therapy Assistant to join our growing practice. This position works directly with patients by assisting with therapeutic modalities, rehabilitation exercises, patient education, and treatment flow while helping create an exceptional patient experience.
What You'll Do
As a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant, you will play an essential role in each patient's recovery by assisting with therapies and ensuring patients receive outstanding care.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare patients for therapy and treatment
- Apply therapeutic modalities including:
- Electrical Stimulation (EMS)
- Therapeutic Ultrasound
- Class IV Cold Laser Therapy
- Shockwave Therapy
- Mechanical Traction/Decompression
- Vibration Plate Therapy
- Massage Therapy Equipment
- Assist patients with rehabilitation and corrective exercise programs
- Perform guided stretching with patients (training provided)
- Monitor patient comfort and communicate progress to the doctor
- Educate patients on home exercises and conservative care recommendations
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation
- Prepare, clean, sanitize, and organize therapy rooms and equipment
- Assist with inventory and clinic organization
- Help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Support front desk staff when needed
- Assist with community outreach events and patient education initiatives

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in chiropractic, physical therapy, sports medicine, rehabilitation, orthopedic, medical assistant, athletic training, massage therapy, or healthcare preferred (Willingness to learn accepted)
- Understanding of basic anatomy and physiology
- Experience assisting patients with therapeutic exercises or stretching preferred
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to safely lift, assist, and support patients during therapy activities
- Comfortable learning multiple therapeutic technologies and treatment protocols

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, and assist patients during exercises and stretching
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds when necessary
- Comfortable working in an active clinical environment
