You’ll join a collaborative educational environment, supporting a diverse caseload of 50-55 students across multiple elementary and middle school sites. The schedule offers flexibility, with part-time hours ranging from 7.5 to 22.5 per week and the potential for up to 37.5 hours weekly if additional supervision becomes available.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida DOH SLPA license is required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting valued
- Skilled in providing speech-language interventions, implementing therapy plans developed by SLPs, and documenting student progress
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working across multiple school sites and adapting to caseload changes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, on-site speech and language services to assigned students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to support student IEP goals and communication needs
- Maintain thorough documentation of student performance and session outcomes
- Travel between designated school locations to maximize caseload and hours
- Participate in ongoing professional development and compliance requirements
