What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including preparing to take appropriate action during medical, behavioral, and/or access-related events.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable laws, regulations, and/or Allied Universal guidelines.

Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with directional support, and report suspicious, hazardous, and/or unusual conditions.

Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and response needs.
Minimum Requirements:

Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

Possess an armed guard card or license.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
