Western Material & Design is a family-owned company that specializes in toll blending and rapid setting concrete. Our services shape highways, bridges, interstates, and other critical infrastructure all over the country.
Duties:
- Quality Control
- Research & Development
- Performing concrete laboratory tests on construction materials
- Specimen preparation
- Data entry
- Assisting with field work and other laboratory functions when needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, for short durations
- Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written formats
- Working proficiency in basic mathematics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Working in a team environment maintaining a clean and organized laboratory
- Also, ability to work independent of supervision
Preferred:
- Concrete testing experience
- ACI certifications
- Quality Control experience
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
