American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CVT) with RCIS or ARRT certification, prior travel experience, and pediatric and adult congenital cath lab experience for a 13-week contract in Leesburg, FL.

Work in a cardiac catheterization lab that includes a congenital lab providing both Cath and EP care
-
Patient population spans all ages, from neonates to adults, including pediatric and adult congenital patients
-
Procedures include PCI, Impella, IABP, interventional cardiology, heart failure management, and Temp Pacers; structural procedures such as Watchman preferred

Peripheral experience preferred

12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with variable scheduling, overnight call coverage, and rotating weekend call

36 hours per week

Float required per facility policy

RCIS or ARRT certification required; Florida state license required if ARRT certified

Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Technology or Cath Lab

Both pediatric and adult experience required given the congenital patient population

Previous travel experience required

Candidates with a break in non-clinical employment of 180 days or longer are not eligible for this position

At least 1 reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration

FL AHCA credentialing processing may take up to 14 business days from receipt
-
No RTO during the first two weeks of the assignment; maximum 8 days of RTO allowed for the 13-week contract

Seasonal influenza vaccination (2025–2026) is required; medical exemptions are accepted with a completed UF Health Vaccine Exemption Request form, and staff who decline must complete an educational module

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
