About Us:
Dan Griffin Sod & Nursery is a family-owned business specializing in sod, plants, trees, mulch, and landscaping materials. We are looking for a dependable, organized individual to help manage the day-to-day administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities for both our sod farm and nursery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage bookkeeping and financial records using accounting software (such as QuickBooks)
- Process invoices, payments, and accounts payable/receivable
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Answer phones and assist customers in person
- Schedule deliveries and coordinate with customers
- Prepare estimates, invoices, and receipts
- Track inventory for sod, plants, trees, and mulch
- Assist with payroll and employee records
- Order office supplies and maintain office organization
- Provide administrative support for both the sod farm and nursery operations
Qualifications:
- Experience with bookkeeping or accounting preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Reliable, honest, and self-motivated
Pay:
Competitive pay based on experience.
Pay: $23.44 - $28.23 per hour
