We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman to lead our Service Department and support our team of technicians.
As the Shop Foreman at Steven Kia, you will provide technical leadership and daily support to the Service Department by assisting technicians with complex diagnostics and repairs, improving shop productivity, and ensuring repairs are completed accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with the Service Manager and Service Advisors to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.
The ideal candidate is an experienced technician with strong leadership abilities, excellent diagnostic skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Provide technical leadership and daily guidance to service technicians.

Assist technicians with advanced diagnostics and difficult repairs.

Monitor workflow and assign repair orders to maximize shop productivity.

Ensure repairs are completed according to manufacturer standards and dealership quality expectations.

Perform quality control inspections on completed repairs.

Support technician training, coaching, and professional development.

Assist the Service Manager with daily shop operations.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies, dealership procedures, and safety standards.

Previous automotive technician experience required.

Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an automotive service department preferred.

Kia certification or equivalent manufacturer certification preferred.

Advanced diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills.
