This position is located within the Hermann Sons Life Office near the Hyatt Place San Antonio on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX and is not remote This position reports to the Cell Brokerage Insurance Business Director.
Cell Brokerage is seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Property & Casualty Insurance Producer to serve as an embedded producer within the Hermann Sons Life Home Office. This role combines consultative insurance sales with strategic partnership development to provide Hermann Sons Life members with access to comprehensive personal and small business insurance solutions.
The embedded producer serves as the dedicated Property & Casualty resource for Hermann Sons Life members, agents, and lodge leadership while remaining an employee of Cell Brokerage. Success in this role requires building trusted relationships, educating referral partners, identifying coverage gaps, and delivering exceptional insurance solutions that protect members and their businesses.
This is a highly visible position requiring initiative, professionalism, and the ability to cultivate long-term relationships rather than simply respond to inbound opportunities.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:

Generate new Personal Lines and Small Commercial insurance business through referrals, networking, and partnership initiatives

Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to identify coverage gaps

Develop customized insurance solutions that meet clients’ financial and risk management objectives

Quote, present, negotiate, and close new business opportunities

Cross-sell multiple insurance products to maximize client protection and retention

Conduct both inbound and outbound sales calls

Proven ability to close sales and call upon leads

Develop leads, identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services
Partnership & Relationship Management

Serve as the dedicated Property & Casualty representative for Hermann Sons Life members

Build strong working relationships with Hermann Sons Life agents and staff
-
Educate referral partners on available insurance products and referral processes
-
Foster trust through exceptional responsiveness and consultative service

Collaborate with leadership strategies to increase member engagement and insurance awareness
Referral & Community Development
Develop and maintain referral relationships with:

Hermann Sons Life agents
-
Lodge leadership
-
Community organizations
-
Centers of influence
-
Business owners
Participate in member events, educational seminars, and community outreach activities
Assist with insurance education presentations for members and prospects
Support marketing initiatives designed to increase awareness of available insurance solutions
Client Service & Account Management

Provide exceptional service throughout the sales process and beyond

Respond promptly to client inquiries and coverage questions

Coordinate with agency service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and policy servicing

Maintain accurate documentation within the agency management system and CRM

Follow all underwriting, compliance, and carrier guidelines
Operational Responsibilities

Track sales activity and referral sources

Maintain accurate production reports and pipeline management

Meet or exceed performance metrics established by agency leadership

Participate in sales meetings, training, and strategic planning initiatives

Maintain all required licenses and continuing education requirements

Field underwriting and rating for new accounts

Prepare insurance quotes, make sales presentations and close new business

Responsible for meeting deadlines

Comply with insurance standards and regulations

Follow up on prospects

Documents and maintain records in agency management system

Maintain a strong work ethic

Follows PnPs such as for new business and renewals
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance sales
-
At least 2 years experience with small business commercial insurance sales

At least 2 years experience with personal lines insurance sales

High School diploma or equivalent required
-
Possess a current Texas General Lines Property & Casualty license and willing to obtain life and health license.

Proven sales record

Strong communication and convincing skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an embedded, affinity, or partnership distribution model

Existing network within the San Antonio business community

Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience with AMS360 or comparable agency management software

Experience conducting educational workshops or community presentations
