Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a skilled professional for a full-time, onsite assignment supporting a student in a 1:1 capacity for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role begins August 3rd, 2026, and concludes May 27th, 2027.
Your expertise will help foster communication and access for a student who relies on your interpretation skills in the classroom and throughout the school day.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid GA DOE Sign Language Interpreter License (no HR waver accepted)
- Competency in educational settings, especially in K-12 environments
- Experience providing 1:1 sign language support preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and a professional demeanor
What You'll Do:
- Deliver 1:1 sign language interpretation for a designated student, ensuring full participation in all classroom activities
- Collaborate with the educational team to adapt and facilitate communication
- Maintain accurate and confidential records as required by the district
- Provide support during various learning environments throughout the school day
