Senior Director, Marketing
Job Summary:
The Senior Director of Marketing leads CareCloud’s marketing function end-to-end — owning strategy, brand, demand generation, content, communications, and the AI-native operating engine that delivers them. Based in CareCloud’s Fort Lauderdale office and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role sets the marketing strategy and editorial direction, owns the brand and corporate style, and builds and leads CareCloud’s global marketing that executes against those priorities.
AI utilization is non-negotiable and central to the strategy — the Senior Director is expected to architect a marketing function in which AI is embedded into every workflow, from research and planning through content production, campaign optimization, and measurement. This Leader establishes the operating cadence, quality standards, and end-to-end ownership required to consistently ship demand generation, content, campaigns, and brand programs that materially impact the top line, while using AI to compress cycle times, expand output, and raise quality.
This is both a strategist’s and a builder’s role: success is measured by the clarity of the marketing strategy, the strength of the brand, the capability and velocity of an AI-leveraged team, and the pipeline and brand outcomes the function produces.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Function Leadership: Own the overall marketing strategy for CareCloud — positioning, messaging architecture, segment priorities, and the annual and quarterly marketing plan. Align the function with company growth objectives, translate strategy into measurable programs, and serve as the senior marketing voice across the executive team. Treat AI leverage as a core component of strategy versus a tool layered on top and design the function so that AI compounds output, speed, and decision quality at every stage.
- Brand Stewardship & Editorial Direction: Own CareCloud’s brand — voice, visual identity, corporate style, and editorial direction. Set the standards, evolve the brand as the business grows, and ensure consistency and coherence across every channel and asset the team produces.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building: Own the day-to-day management, development, and performance of CareCloud’s marketing team, including the offshore execution engine. Assess current team composition, identify capability gaps, and partner with HR to recruit, onboard, and develop talent. Build the team into a self-directing unit capable of owning deliverables end-to-end — from strategy input through execution, measurement, and iteration.
- Operating Cadence & Accountability: Install and run the marketing operating cadence: daily stand-ups with the offshore team, weekly planning and pipeline reviews, monthly business reviews, and quarterly planning cycles. Ensure no campaign or deliverable ships without a named owner, a due date, and a measurable goal. Hold the team accountable for on-time, on-quality execution.
- Demand Generation & Pipeline Contribution: Partner with sales leadership to set MQL/SQL targets and own marketing's contribution to the sales pipeline. Develop and execute outbound email strategy, paid campaigns, content-driven demand gen, ABM programs, and event support across CareCloud's RCM, SaaS, and platform offerings — with the offshore team executing the majority of the program work.
- Campaign Calendar & Execution: Build and maintain the quarterly marketing campaign calendar. Ensure campaigns are scoped, resourced, launched, and measured through the offshore team, with onshore support where strategically warranted.
- Content Marketing Strategy & Execution: Set the content marketing strategy and editorial calendar, and drive execution from production through distribution and optimization, with the offshore team owning day-to-day output. Ensure content investments map back to demand generation and brand priorities.
- Brand Standards Enforcement: Apply and enforce the corporate style and brand guide across all marketing output produced by the team, ensuring consistency and coherence with the brand strategy this role owns.
- Website & Digital Presence: Own website content operations, positioning updates, and execution. Retain and foster CareCloud's presence and rankings on KLAS, Best in Business, Forbes Advisor, and comparable industry placements. Drive organic optimization and competitive positioning for priority keywords (e.g., medical billing company, RCM, EHR).
- Multi-channel Messaging Execution: Direct the writing, production, and dissemination of marketing, event, corporate, and client messaging across email, blogs, social media, and case studies — with the offshore team producing and onshore leadership approving.
- Social Media Execution: Oversee social media marketing execution to maintain brand continuity and enhance brand visibility across all enterprise channels.
- Product Launch Execution: Lead the execution of marketing plans for new product launches, coordinating across teams to ensure successful and impactful go-to-market delivery.
- AI as a Strategic Multiplier: Build and operate an AI-native marketing function. Define the AI tooling stack (with Claude as a primary tool), the workflows that run through it, and the standards for prompts, review, and quality control. Use AI as a strategic multiplier across research, audience insight, positioning, content production, campaign ideation, copy iteration, SEO, analytics, and reporting. Embed AI fluency into hiring, onboarding, performance expectations, and daily practice for every member of the team. CareCloud is an AI-forward company, and this role is expected to set the bar for AI adoption across marketing and to demonstrate measurable productivity, velocity, and quality gains from it.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Product, HR, and other functions to gather inputs, align on priorities, and ensure marketing execution supports broader enterprise objectives.
Education, Experience and Abilities:
- BA/BS in business, marketing, communications, or other related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five (5) years of marketing experience, with demonstrated progression into functional leadership and ownership of strategy, brand, or demand generation at a department level.
- Deep, demonstrated AI fluency (Claude, ChatGPT, or comparable tools) in production marketing workflows — with concrete examples of how AI changed strategy, output, or economics on programs they have led. Candidates without genuine AI fluency will not be considered.
- Demonstrated ownership of marketing strategy, positioning, and brand — not just execution. Comfortable being the senior marketing voice in the room.
- Experience managing, building, or scaling an offshore team strongly preferred.
- Proven demand generation track record — must be able to walk through a pipeline they personally built and the programs that fed it.
- Impeccable writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing and communications principles, planning, and technology.
- Experience in the healthcare or technology industry is preferred but not required.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver impactful marketing programs in a fast-paced environment and highly regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to constructively influence divergent interests and stakeholder points of view to ensure deliverables are completed timely and with superior quality.
