Responsible for all patient billing, processing payments, minimizing bad debt and improving cash flow in a timely manner. Reports directly to the COO and manages the overall health of the companys receivables.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a thorough general knowledge and understanding of billing clerk functions.
- Must also possess general knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to billing.

Must have ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.

Must be a self-starter with good people and communication skills. Attention to detail is essential.

Must maintain confidentiality of all personnel matters.

Previous experience with billing.
Education and/or Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent required.

Preferred 1-year exposure in a healthcare environment.
Licensure/Certification:

BLS Certification
