Job Type: Part-time to start, with the opportunity to transition to full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday (no weekends)
Pay: $100,000–$150,000 per year (commensurate with experience and hours)

About the Practice
We are a well-established, physician-led interventional pain management and physical medicine & rehabilitation practice in Brooklyn. Our team provides attentive, high-quality care to a diverse community, with a warm, patient-first approach. We are growing and looking to add an experienced Nurse Practitioner to work alongside our physician and clinical team. This is a direct-hire position ,you will be a member of our practice, not an agency placement.
Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate and treat patients presenting with pain, musculoskeletal, and rehabilitation conditions in a collaborative outpatient setting, working closely with the supervising physician. You will support patient evaluations, treatment planning, and the day-to-day care of a busy pain management practice. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal and neurological evaluations, including history and physical examinations for patients with pain, injury, and rehabilitation needs.
- Assess and manage acute and chronic pain conditions in an outpatient pain management / PM&R setting.
- Assist the supervising physician with interventional pain procedures, injections, and trigger-point treatments as needed.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies (e.g., imaging, EMG/NCV) to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans; prescribe medications in accordance with New York State scope of practice.
- Coordinate care with physical therapy and support patients' rehabilitation goals.
- Provide patient education on conditions, procedures, medications, and recovery.
- See patients, perform evaluations, and prepare detailed medical reports and progress notes.
- Document encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR), including documentation for no-fault and workers' compensation cases and deposition / medical-legal reporting.
- Coordinate care with the supervising physician, therapists, and support staff, and follow up on results, referrals, and ongoing patient needs.
Qualifications
- Active New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
- Active DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).
- Experience in pain management, physiatry (PM&R), orthopedics, or a musculoskeletal setting preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered.
- Workers' compensation experience is a strong plus (the practice works extensively with workers' comp and depositions).
- Injection / procedure experience is a plus.
- Comfortable with EMR documentation.
- English required; Russian language skills strongly preferred to serve our patient population.
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused, with strong communication skills.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday.
- No weekends.
- Part-time to start, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary of $100,000–$150,000, based on experience and schedule.
- Two weeks of paid time off (PTO).
