Role Overview:
As a Home Care Aide at FirstLight of Glen Rock, you will be responsible for providing compassionate assistance to our clients, ensuring they enjoy comfort and dignity in their daily lives. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with family members and care teams to support individuals in their home environment. Whether you work on-site in Glen Rock, New Jersey, you’ll have the flexibility to contribute positively to our clients’ well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care activities, including grooming, bathing, and dressing.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Help clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and housekeeping.

Transport clients to appointments and social activities as needed.

Collaborate with the care team to monitor client progress and report any changes in behavior or health.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in a caregiving role or a willingness to learn.

Strong communication skills, including fluency in English.

Empathy and compassion for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bonus If You:
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Possess any relevant certifications (CNA, HHA, etc.).

This position is Full-Time, Monday through Friday.
