Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver packages and goods along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Manage route driving efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism
- Engage with customers courteously during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Conduct heavy lifting and merchandising tasks as needed to load and unload items securely
- Utilize communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers, report delivery statuses, and handle unforeseen challenges on the road
- Apply pricing knowledge and upselling techniques when appropriate to enhance sales opportunities during customer interactions
- Maintain organizational skills by keeping delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle cleanliness in top condition
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
- Demonstrated organizational skills for managing schedules, delivery paperwork, and vehicle maintenance records
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and sales techniques to support upselling efforts when applicable

Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per day
