Head Maintenance Technician – Full-Time
Location: South Padre Island, TX
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Sea Vista Condominium Association is seeking a dependable and experienced Head Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of a beachfront condominium property.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee daily maintenance operations of the property
- Complete work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems and common areas
- Coordinate and supervise outside vendors and contractors
- Maintain maintenance records and inventory of supplies
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs
- Ensure the property is maintained in a safe, clean, and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in condominium, hotel, apartment, or commercial property maintenance
- Experience supervising maintenance staff or contractors
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
