Job Title: Manual & CNC Machinist – Programmer (Experienced Only)

We need someone who can run manual mills/lathes and also program CNC machines. This is a hands-on job for a versatile, skilled machinist — not an entry-level CNC operator role.
Industrial Services of Peachtree City is a full-service welding, fabrication, and machining shop working with steel, aluminum, stainless, and plastics. We specialize in precision parts and solutions for wholesalers, retailers, and contractors.
We’re looking for a highly skilled Manual & CNC Machinist who can both operate and program a variety of manual and CNC equipment for custom part fabrication.
What You’ll Do:
- Run manual mills and lathes to machine precision parts from scratch or drawings.
- Program and run CNC mills and lathes (G-code or conversational).
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and part samples.
- Machine materials including steel, stainless, aluminum, and plastics.
- Work independently to design and build accurate components.
- Use CAD/CAM or G/M-code programming (Mastercam experience is a plus).
- Hold close tolerances and verify dimensions using measuring tools.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience running manual machines.
- 2+ years programming and operating CNC mills/lathes.
- Strong blueprint reading and mechanical problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and precision instruments.
- Comfortable machining complex, one-off parts.
Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus):
- Mastercam programming
- CAD/CAM knowledge
