Summary
We are seeking a bookkeeper with basic accounting skills to join our team. This role is crucial for assisting in financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all financial operations
- Process accounts payable, cash receipts, bank reconciliations and payroll efficiently.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain organized supporting accounting records
- Involved in month end close and production of monthly operating statements
- Perform other office and accounting duties as necessary
Requirements
- Real estate accounting experience a definite plus
- Proven experience in a similar role in an office services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage or Timberline a plus.
- Basic working knowledge of Excel and Word needed
- Basic analytical skills needed. Attention to detail a must.
- Have worked in an environment with multiple bank accounts at multiple financial institutions. Responsible for accurately depositing funds to the correct accounts and properly recording.
- Responsible for coding invoices and assigning to correct entity / project.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
- Flexible as to what job duties encompass outside normal accounting field. This is a small office which will require non-accounting responsibilities.
