Pediatric Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Clifton, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) | 7 Days a Week Coverage
Pay: $45–$55 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in a private home setting. This role is ideal for an RN who is confident in managing respiratory care and providing hands-on daily support in a family-centered environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in the home
- Manage respiratory needs including:
- Cough assist
- Suctioning
- Chest physiotherapy (CPT)
- Nebulizer treatments
- CPAP
- Safely administer prescribed medications
- Assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor patient condition and report changes as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Collaborate with family and care team to ensure continuity of care
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Pediatric nursing experience required
- Strong experience with respiratory conditions and equipment
- Comfortable administering medications
- Ability to lift 50–60 lbs
- Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Current CPR/BLS certification
