Seeking Registered Nurse Manager

We are looking for a Nursing Manager to join our team in our beautiful country estate behavioral health facility in Waxahachie, Texas. Responsibilities:
- Schedule nurses’ shifts and train and evaluate nursing staff
- Provide reports on productivity, quality and metrics
- Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance
- Provide care adapted to the individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
- Provide direct client care, including the reporting of observed changes in mental status and/or physical condition, response to emergencies, safety risks
- Performing new intake assessments (COWS AND CIWA)
- Observation, documentation, audit functions, and record keeping of all observed/inventoried/destroyed/prescribed medications
- Monitoring medication management and taking vitals
- Provides direct client care to a diversified patient population, across continuum of care
- Collaborates with staff in assessing client treatment needs and develops plan of care for all clients, including complex high-risk patients
- Work closely with staff physician to provide education and counseling for clients and other organizational health care providers on optimal use of medicines (e.g., proper use, avoidance of over medication)
- All services provided will comply with all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Texas (in good standing)
- Experience in Substance Use Disorders and/or Behavioral Health preferred
- Charge Nurse experience
- Ability to work onsite full-time at our facility located in Waxahachie, TX

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
