Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our close-knit rehabilitation team. Here, we provide exceptional care with compassion, integrity, and collaboration-while supporting the health and wellness of our coastal community.
Education: Graduate of an accredited PTA program
Licensure: Current Washington State PTA license
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (required within 6 months of hire)
Experience: One year in a clinical healthcare setting preferred
Tech-Savvy: Epic experience a plus
As a PTA, you'll work alongside physical therapists to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering hands-on therapy and guiding rehabilitation exercises
Supporting patients and families with education and encouragement
Assisting with infection control and patient safety practices
Collaborating with physical therapists on treatment plans and progress
Contributing to community outreach and wellness initiatives
