Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator with experience operating excavators up to 25,000 lbs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trenching and excavation safety, be committed to producing quality work, and work efficiently alongside field crews on commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities

Safely operate excavators up to 25,000 lbs. on commercial construction sites.

Perform trenching, excavation, grading, backfilling, and material handling.

Read and understand site plans, utility layouts, and grade requirements.

Excavate around existing underground utilities while maintaining safe work practices.

Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.

Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any mechanical concerns.

Work closely with field supervisors and crews to complete projects efficiently.

Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and excavation best practices.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
Qualifications

5-10 years of excavator operating experience.

Certified in the operation and maintenance of excavators 25,000 lbs. or less.

Training and experience in Trenching and Excavation Safety.

Strong understanding of underground utility work and excavation practices.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
