Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual with experience in welding, forklift operation, and precision measurement. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components, safely operating equipment, and ensuring accuracy in all work performed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding using MIG techniques
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and organize materials safely
- Measure materials accurately using tape measures and calipers
- Cut, fit, and assemble metal components according to specifications
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in welding and forklift operation
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure (to 1/16") and use calipers
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
Compensation & Schedule:
- Starting Pay: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Full-time position
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to heat, noise, and industrial environments
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- May involve lifting, standing, bending, and operating machinery for extended period
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
