The Maintenance Technician will play a key role in ensuring smooth plant operations by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks while upholding safety and company regulations.
- Shift: 1st Shift
- Pay Rate: $30-$32 per hour
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, including inspecting belts, chains, and electrical cabinets.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related issues.
- Maintain detailed records of preventative maintenance activities.
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery as needed for repairs.
- Research and request necessary parts for maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and assist with additional assigned tasks.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 2-5 years of experience in factory maintenance.
- Solid understanding of production equipment, operational processes, and SOPs.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with industrial electricity (up to 480V, 3-phase), refrigeration, mechanical systems, PLCs, and TIG welding.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues with production and plant equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, work orders, and labels.
- Familiarity with USDA guidelines, OSHA regulations, HAACP protocols, GMPs, and company policies.
