Young Chefs Academy The Woodlands is seeking hard working, outgoing individuals for lead teacher and assistant teacher part-time positions.
We offer competitive pay, flexible hours and a fun environment where we teach the joy and value of cooking to young chefs from preschool to high school.
Positions are part-time based on weekly schedule of events, usually in afternoons through early evening and some mornings as well as full days on Saturday. Culinary degree NOT required, but knowing your way around the kitchen and experience working with children is a plus.
Experience working with children and culinary instruction preferred.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Teaching the art of cooking using curriculum-based recipes and culinary techniques from provided lessons and teaching guides in a fun environment.
- Preparing and resetting classrooms for events.
- Greeting and hosting students and parents.
- Potentially light office duties
Requirements
Culinary degree NOT required, but knowing your way around the kitchen and experience working with children is a plus.
Experience working with children and culinary instruction preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
