Job Title: Direct Service Worker/CNA
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Administer medications as needed
- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist in the implementation of care plans and treatment protocols
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Collaborate with Provider Agency supervisor to ensure quality patient care
Skills:
- Childcare experience: Ability to provide care for pediatric patients in a compassionate and nurturing manner
- Working with people with developmental disabilities: Knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities and promoting their independence
- Senior care: Understanding of the unique needs of elderly patients and ability to provide appropriate care and assistance
- Patient care: Proficient in providing comprehensive care to patients, including monitoring health status, administering medications, and assisting with personal hygiene
- Direct support: Ability to provide direct support to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities in a respectful and empowering manner
- Driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to transport patients as needed
- Dementia care: Knowledge of dementia-related conditions and ability to provide specialized care for patients with cognitive impairments
- Care-giving: Experience in providing compassionate care and support to individuals with various medical conditions or disabilities
- First aid: Proficient in administering first aid techniques and responding to medical emergencies promptly and effectively
- Meal preparation: Ability to prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
