As an independent contractor in our salon, you keep 100% of your profits and tips. Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair styling services including cuts, color, extensions, and special treatments with enthusiasm and precision
- Manage your own booth rental space, maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment for clients
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques in hair
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, listening attentively to client needs, and ensuring a positive salon experience
- Upsell retail products like hair care items and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue opportunities
- Maintain strict sanitation standards for tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and cutting techniques
- Strong knowledge of color theory and application techniques for vibrant or corrective coloring
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members effectively
- Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products confidently
- Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols within the salon environment
