This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as our Michigan office continues to grow.

Position Summary
The Licensed Clinician provides outpatient behavioral health services through comprehensive assessments, individual and group therapy, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and care coordination while maintaining compliance with applicable state regulations, payer requirements, HIPAA, and agency policies.

Essential Responsibilities
Clinical Services
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations.
- Develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
- Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches appropriate to client needs.
- Monitor client progress and revise treatment plans as clinically indicated.
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary.
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, case managers, schools, and community partners.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
- Maintain electronic health records in accordance with agency standards.
- Complete treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required documentation.
- Ensure documentation complies with Medicaid, commercial insurance, HIPAA, and agency requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, documentation reviews, and clinical consultations.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain professional licensure in good standing.
- Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and case consultations.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical practice standards.
- Demonstrate cultural humility and trauma-informed care principles.
- Complete required continuing education and agency trainings.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess one of the following Michigan licenses:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or families.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders.
- Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
