Summary:
The F&B Administrative Assistant is directly responsible for performing diverse administrative functions for the Food & Beverage department. They will be responsible for answering the phones, making outlets reservations, printing menus and assisting the F&B Outlets Sales manager with booking large parties. Additionally, they will assist the director of Food and Beverage as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for performing diverse administrative functions for Food and Beverage as well as Executive offices
- Answering the phones, making outlets reservations and assisting the office manager with booking large parties
- Assisting the director of Food and Beverage as needed and the General Manager/Resident manager in the absence of the Executive Assistant
- Producing reports for Food and beverage outlets and the department leadership that forecast upcoming business for in-house guests.
- Responsible for communicating final menus and details to the F&B outlets and the culinary team/ chefs for large parties and private events.
- Producing flyers and vouchers for all food and beverage outlets related to upcoming groups, as well as printing menus for private events.
- Ordering menu paper, voucher paper, comment cards, envelopes, business cards and any other administrative items needed to support the various food and beverage outlets.
Experience/Qualifications:
- 1+ years of related administrative experience and/or training
- Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with staff and the general public
- Proficient computer and technology skills preferred
- Must be able to legally work in the USA
- This position requires a typing and grammar test
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year certificate from a college or technical school preferred.
