Sproutlings Educational Childcare Center is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Assistant Teacher to join our Infant, Toddler, or Preschool classroom! We are a warm, welcoming early childhood center dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with little ones and eager to be part of a supportive, team-oriented workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Teacher in the daily care, supervision, and education of infants and toddlers
- Support the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of each child
- Help plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
- Follow all state childcare regulations and Sproutlings policies
- Assist with feeding, diapering, naptime, and other caregiving routines
- Participate in staff meetings and required trainings
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers preferred, including babysitting/nanny
- Must meet state licensing requirements for childcare assistants (we will assist with training if needed)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and actively engage with young children
- Friendly, dependable, and team-focused

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
