American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 2 years of MS/Tele experience and prior travel or per diem experience, working nights in a 1:5 ratio environment.

Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting

Adult MS/Tele patient population only; no pediatric care required

Patient ratio of 1:5

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Weekend requirement: 6 shifts over 6 weeks (every other weekend)

Active MD or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) experience required

Adult MS/Tele experience only; pediatric experience not required

Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment or one month of a per diem assignment

2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section
