Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Reports to: Practice Development Manager
Location: On-site in Urgent Care
Schedule: Varying shifts of up to twelve (12) to fourteen (14) hours. Days, evenings, weekends and holidays required.
Job Summary: The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using both computerized and traditional radiologic equipment. This role ensures high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and regulatory compliance. When not performing imaging duties, this position may also support front desk and other administrative operations to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.
FLSA STATUS: This position is a non-exempt role under the Fair Labor Standards Act; thus, it is eligible to receive overtime compensation, as appropriate. Overtime requires prior approval from the supervisor.
Sign-on bonus of $5,000 for new hire, full-time Radiologic Technologists!
Bonus will be paid if all the following criteria is met:
1. All onboarding documentation and training must be completed within 30 days of employment or the bonus is forfeited.
2. First 50% will be paid upon 6 months of full-time employment.
3. Remaining 50% will be paid upon 12 months of full-time employment.
4. If 12 months of employment is not met, bonus will be forfeited.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
RADIOLOGIC SERVICES
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures following established procedures for patient care and safety.
- Protect patients, yourself, and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards.
- Develop and process radiological film.
- Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by healthcare practitioner. Maintain a repeat rate of two percent or less.
- Manage compliance logbooks as per statutory regulations and UCA requirements and associated paperwork as required.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Report immediately any equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
- Log completed radiological procedures. Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
- Identify and file reports as required.
- Maintain X-ray room, stock necessary radiological supplies.
- Request, retrieve and track files to and from other departments or centers.
PATIENT CARE AND CLINICAL SUPPORT
- · Greeting and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- · Ensure patient privacy, confidentiality, and dignity at all times
- · Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding urgent or emergent patient needs
- · Support timely patient flow in coordination with clinical staff
- · Inform patients of delays or extended wait times as needed
FRONT DESK AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT/COVERAGE
- · Register patients accurately according to established procedures
- · Verify patient information and assist with completion of required forms
- · Collect and process patient payments and balance daily transactions
- · Answer and manage phone calls professionally, including message taking and patient inquiries
- · Print, scan, file, and manage patient charts and diagnostic reports
- · Handle medical record requests and correspondence in accordance with protocols
- · Assist with insurance forms, prior authorizations, and related documentation
- · Maintain front desk supplies and general office organization
- · Perform routine cleaning duties in assigned areas, including restocking, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- · Follow opening and closing procedures
TEAM COLLABORATION
- · Work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient care
- · Maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and leadership
- · Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- · Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of employment
- · Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- · Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- · Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- · Ability to follow instructions and clinical protocols accurately
- · Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
- · Basic math skills for handling payments and measurements
- · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- · Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- · Willingness to participate in continuing education as required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
