MOTO Pizza is coming to San Clemente, in the new Little Italy Food Hall.
Starting pay is set to $17.75/hour + tips. Full time employees will become eligible for benefits after 60 days of employment, and lots of exciting opportunities for growth within the company are available!
Summary
As a member of the MOTO Team, you directly influence the success of MOTO by preparing various food items during scheduled shifts.
As a Team Member, your objective is to live, teach, and demonstrate the MOTO purpose; To share love, hope, and pizza.
Key Responsibilities
- Proof dough and prepare pies.
- Set up work stations with ingredients, finishes, tools, boxes, etc.
- Bake, finish and box pizzas.
- Greet, welcome, and take care of guests as they arrive to place orders or pick up pizzas.
- Serve ice cream and beverages to guests.
- Fold boxes, stock beverages, and other side duties as assigned.
- Receive and put away orders.
- Set up pre orders for the night.
- Ensure all dirty dishes are washed and clean dishes are correctly stored.
- Aid in nightly cleaning duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Able to get to work on time reliably.
- Be motivated and have a positive team centered attitude.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Current CA State Food Handler's permits.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a restaurant environment.
Physical Requirements
As a member of our team, you will be working in a production/restaurant environment. This requires walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing and pulling to handle or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. You will also be asked to operate hand-held appliances and simple kitchen equipment (industrial can opener, commercial dishwasher, etc.) as well as larger equipment such as a cheese shredder and dough mixer. Depending on the location, you may need to go up and down stairs. The ability to communicate and exchange information with coworkers and others is also required. The ability to comply with all public health requirements is required.
Working Conditions
High noise levels due to operations, customers and overhead music.
May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on store (varied weather conditions are expected), including delivering order curbside to the customer.
Will work near moving or mechanical/hot parts and equipment.
Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
