About the Role: The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre Tel Aviv is seeking an experienced, senior-level Faculty & Program Director to design, curate, and manage our inspiring calendar of wellness offerings. This is a contract position for a seasoned professional who can take full ownership of our programming strategy.
In this role, you will oversee onsite offerings at the Sivananda Tel Aviv Center, residential retreats at various external venues, and our robust online programs (spanning wellness, yoga, meditation, and professional teacher trainings).
As Faculty & Program Director, you will recruit and coordinate high-profile presenters, strategically manage seasonal schedules, and oversee the complex logistics that make our courses and retreats successful. You will report directly to the Director of Programming & Marketing and collaborate with our marketing, sales, accounting, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Conceptualize, plan, and implement comprehensive seasonal program calendars across all channels (Tel Aviv Center, regional retreats, and digital platforms).
- Talent & Contract Management: Source, recruit, and negotiate terms with international and local presenters; manage contracts, program budgets, and speaker logistics.
- Content Asset Management: Direct the collection of high-quality bios, media assets, and program descriptions to hand off to the marketing team.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the central hub connecting marketing, sales, reservations, and operations to ensure flawless execution of events.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor enrollment metrics and financial viability of programs, proactively adjusting schedules or curation to optimize success.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Proven Seniority: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in high-level program management, large-scale event coordination, retreat curation, or community operations.
- Strong Business Acumen: Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, vendor management, and budget oversight.
- Bilingual Communication: Native or professional-level written and verbal fluency in both Hebrew and English is mandatory.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating and managing digital workflows via Google Workspace, WordPress, Arbox, Monday.com, Plando, and Dropbox.
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the yoga, wellness, mindfulness, or holistic retreat industries is highly preferred.
- Self-Starter Mindset: As a contractor, you must possess exceptional project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives independently.
