Licensed Clinical Psychologist – Parental Capacity & Psychological Evaluations

Flexible Hourly W-2 or Full-Time Salaried Position
The Center for Safety and Healing (CSH) is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our growing evaluation team. This position will primarily focus on completing comprehensive Parental Capacity Psychological Evaluations for families involved with community agencies, courts, and child-serving systems.This is a great opportunity for a psychologist who enjoys assessment work and is looking for significant flexibility and autonomy while still being part of a collaborative, experienced clinical team.
Position Options & Compensation
Flexible Hourly W-2 Position
- $65/hour
- $250 completion bonus for each evaluation completed
- Flexible scheduling and caseload

Full-Time Salaried Option
- $100,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience and scope of responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
The psychologist will conduct comprehensive parental capacity and psychological evaluations, including clinical interviews, psychological testing, collateral interviews, record review, diagnostic formulation, report writing, and development of practical recommendations for families and multidisciplinary teams.
Evaluators will collaborate with referral sources, case managers, attorneys, courts, treatment providers, and other professionals as appropriate.
While the primary need is for Parental Capacity Psychological Evaluations, psychologists interested in expanding their role may also have opportunities to complete psychological, psychosexual, trauma, biopsychosocial, risk, and other specialized evaluations based on their training and interests.

Qualifications
Applicants must hold an active Virginia license as a Clinical Psychologist and be qualified to independently conduct psychological evaluations. Strong assessment, diagnostic, clinical writing, and communication skills are essential.
Experience with parental capacity, forensic, child welfare, court-involved, family, juvenile justice, or other complex evaluations is preferred.
