Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas, including counters, equipment, and storage spaces through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Support bussing and food running duties to ensure timely delivery of dishes from kitchen to guests
- Handle manual lifting tasks safely when moving supplies, ingredients, or equipment, following proper lifting practices to prevent injury
- Assist with food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Support restaurant operations by serving guests at the counter or in-person customer service stations with professionalism and friendliness
- Operate POS systems such as Square POS for order processing and transactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols is essential
- Experience with kitchen tasks such as cleaning, bussing, and heavy lifting is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently during busy periods
- Familiarity with POS or Square POS is a plus
- A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and eagerness to learn are essential for success in this energetic role
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
