Sky Contracting LLC, a trusted name in delivering high-quality CAPEX projects for multifamily and commercial properties, is seeking a skilled and driven Project Manager to join our growing team. We are a small team who are aiming to build a team of 6 to 10 people by 2028 January. We currently have 2 owner partners, a business development manager, and an estimator. You will be part of a team building from the early stages. While we have amazing contractors and relationships with big key clients, we are still young. Flexibility, ambition, teamwork, humility, attention to detail, and communication are critical attributes that would make a good fit for our team.
About the Role: This role is ideal for a construction professional who excels at managing successful execution of projects from start to finish. You will be responsible overseeing projects from pre-construction through closeout, and ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met every step of the way.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD LIVE IN COLUMBUS
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects from start to finish.
- Serve as the main point of contact for subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Monitor field performance, ensure quality standards, and resolve on-site challenges.
- Manage subcontractor relationships and oversee project execution to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, compliance, and progress tracking.
Desired Attributes:
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management, ideally in the multifamily space.
- Solid knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and budgeting skills with a sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency with construction estimating software and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Compensation:
The compensation structure for this position will be based on experience and performance and outlined as follows:
- Base Salary: 50-80k based on experience
- Healthcare Stipend / reimbursement: up to $500 a month
- Mileage Reimbursement monthly based on logging at $0.655 per mile according to recommendations which accounts for gas, maintenance, insurance, depreciation, wear and tear
- Negotiable Commissions on opportunities you bring in
