RESPONSIBILITIES
The Equipment Technician will perform maintenance services, test, and assemble arcade, mobility, and locker equipment as needed. This position will be responsible for completing safety audits, quality control, parts, and supply inventory tracking, as well as understanding equipment operations and maintenance manuals. The right candidate will provide assistance and on-the-job training when requested and propose improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Performs maintenance services on arcade and locker equipment and mobility products which include strollers, wheelchairs, and ECV’s.
Provides repairs, cleaning, inspection, and services on powered and manual equipment
Works on hardware and basic electrical components
Diagnoses and documents equipment issues and repairs
Exhibits skillful use of all types of tools, both machine and hand tools used in maintenance
Partners with fellow team members and/or Supervisor to problem solve and complete work
Comprehends and interprets operation and maintenance manuals
Shows ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Complies with all company policies and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of experience servicing or maintaining equipment
Knowledge of proper tool usage to include electronic motor and harness repair
Mechanically inclined and oriented with troubleshooting skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a warehouse environment
Exhibits a willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
Demonstrates a professional attitude
Works independently with limited supervision
Travel may be required
