Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Cosmetologist/Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team! Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, braiding and styling.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
- Offer expert product recommendations and upsell retail items to boost sales while educating clients on hair care routines.
- Greet clients, manage check-ins/outs, and ensure smooth salon operations.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering (including straight razor shaves), and customer service skills.
- Support store management with inventory management, retail math calculations, and maintaining a welcoming salon environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cosmetologist or Hairstylist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styling techniques.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures specific to cosmetology and barbering practices to ensure client safety.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their beauty goals effectively.
- Experience in retail sales strategies including upselling products like hair care items.
- Prior mentoring or training experience is a plus for supporting team development within the salon environment.
