Bullfrog Corner, a thriving retail store located in Southport, NC, is currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associates, for a seasonal part-time position from August 2026 through December 2026. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the store. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering positive shopping experiences to our valued customers. During the peak summer season, our vibrant and bustling location experiences increased customer traffic and demand. Candidates must possess the physical capability to handle, stock, and replenish merchandise from shipments, which may include lifting and maneuvering boxes weighing up to 25-30 lbs throughout the workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter and exit the store, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Build strong relationships with customers by engaging in positive and helpful communication, ensuring their needs are met, and providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Encourage customers to make purchases and answer any questions they may have about our products, services, and availability.
- Receive and unpack incoming shipments, organizing and restocking items on the sales floor as needed.
- Assist customers with their orders, processing payments, and ensuring all items are correctly displayed and priced.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute the placement of items on sale, over-the-counter, and in-store displays, maximizing visual appeal and sales potential.
- Complete daily cashier duties accurately, following company policies and procedures to ensure smooth and secure transactions.
- Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and general store operations as directed by management to maintain a well-organized and efficient environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and some holidays.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey accurate information about products and services to customers.
- Active listening skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently within the organization's policies and procedures.
- Positive attitude and a team player mentality, striving to achieve common goals and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Compensation:
- $15 per hour
