Project Future is a nurturing, play-based childcare facility dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and enriching environment for young children. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Childcare Director to lead our team and help shape the future of our program.
Job Summary:
The Director is responsible for the overall management of the center, including staff supervision, curriculum oversight, regulatory compliance, enrollment, budgeting, and building strong relationships with families and staff. This leadership role is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills, a heart for children, and a commitment to excellence in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
- Hire, train, supervise, and support teaching and administrative staff
- Maintain licensing and regulatory compliance with state and local agencies
- Manage enrollment and parent communications
- Create and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial sustainability
- Organize professional development opportunities for staff
- Promote positive relationships with children, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood education, with 1+ years in a supervisory or administrative role
- Strong knowledge of childcare licensing requirements and best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
